These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, services, and products provided by Metrointelligence / Criminal Investigations ("Metro," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed Arizona private investigations agency operated as a sole proprietorship.

By accessing or using our website, requesting services, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Products and Services
Metro provides licensed private investigation services, including criminal background investigations, field work, surveillance, and related support services. Services are provided based on the information and lawful purpose you provide. All reports are delivered electronically unless otherwise agreed.
4. Ordering and Payment
Orders are processed through our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles payment processing, billing, tax, refunds, and returns. By placing an order, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
5. License and Use
Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered report or service for your own lawful purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, reproduce, or publicly display any report or portion of our service without written permission.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Using reports or information for illegal, fraudulent, harassing, stalking, or harmful purposes.
- Violating any applicable federal, state, or local law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity or purpose.
- Interfering with the security or operation of our website, including malware, hacking, probing, scraping, or excessive automated access.
- Infringing our intellectual property or the rights of others.
- Reverse engineering or attempting to access our systems or data sources without authorization.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, reports, and materials on this website and delivered through our services are the intellectual property of Metrointelligence / Criminal Investigations unless otherwise indicated. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
8. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information for your case. We are not responsible for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by you.
9. Confidentiality and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
10. Service Availability
We do not guarantee that our website or services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may perform maintenance or updates that affect availability.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of third-party data. Investigative reports rely on third-party data sources and are subject to their availability and accuracy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Metrointelligence / Criminal Investigations and its owners, contractors, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your unlawful use of any report or information.
14. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for material breach, non-payment, fraud, security risk, repeated violations of law, or any other conduct we determine to be harmful. Upon termination, your right to access reports and services ends, and any outstanding obligations remain due.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts located in Tucson, Arizona, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
